Youth Volunteer Opportunities

Play Team 2011-2012

Join the Youth Volunteer Team at Minnesota Children's Museum!

PLAY! As a Play Team Volunteer, you’ll spend your time playing with children in the Museum galleries and leading creative arts programs. You’ll volunteer with other high school students from around the Twin Cities and meet lots of new people.

LEARN! Gain experience working with children and build your teamwork, communication and leadership skills. This is a great way to build your resume for scholarships, college applications, and future employment!

SERVE! Support your community and the families who visit the Museum to play and learn by giving your time. You’ll be a positive role-model and make an impact on the lives of thousands of children.

Play Team volunteers must be enrolled in 9th-12th grades during the 2011-2012 school year. Shifts are available on weekends and school holidays and volunteers choose a total of 10 shifts throughout the school year based on their own availablity. Shift times are 8:45 a.m.-12:45 p.m. or 12-4 p.m., and Friday and Saturday nights from 3:45-7 p.m.

Volunteers and interns receive free parking each time they volunteer.
