Adult Volunteer Opportunities

There are a variety of ways for you to get involved and volunteer at Minnesota Children's Museum! Whether you'd prefer to lead art activities in the classroom, play in the galleries or assist behind the scenes in the office, we have a great opportunity for you.

Youth Volunteer Opportunities

High school students can PLAY, LEARN and SERVE at the Museum by joining our Play Team. This is a great opportunity for teens to have fun, gain experience and give back to our community.

The Museum offers a variety of unique internships that are an opportunity for you to gain practical experience and develop workplace skills. Internships at the Museum are part-time (about 10 to 12 hours per week for a 12 week term). Around 20 positions are available during each session and there are three terms each year. Applicants typically have completed one year of college and must be at least 18 years old. A resume, cover letter and online application must be submitted to qualify.

Current Volunteers

Visit the Volunteer Information Center (VicNet) to log-in and check your schedule, view and post your volunteer service hours, receive messages from Volunteer Services, and much more. Youth volunteers are also able to self-schedule their shifts on VicNet. Adult volunteers may soon be able to do this – stay tuned!
