Individual Giving

Your Gift. Their Discovery.

The true cost of providing a high-quality, interactive learning experience goes well beyond entrance fees. Community support is vital to our success and represents nearly 50 percent of the Museum's operating budget.

Donations allow the Museum to continue to provide a unique, state-of-the-art educational experience in an interactive, academic environment kids love. Donations also benefit the entire community by helping to fund the Access program, which provides free or reduced admission to low–income families and school groups. About 30 percent of our 400,000 guests attend at free or reduced admission through this program.

Give to the Max Day Results

Thank you for a tremendous show of support on November 17.

Thank you to everyone who supported Minnesota Children's Museum during Give To The Max day.  We are proud to report that the Museum received more than 100 donations raising $40,750!!

We are grateful for all the donors who took advantage of this great opportunity to maximize their giving!  Gifts to the Museum make an extraordinary positive impact for children, families, educators, and caregivers who are seeking meaningful play-based learning experiences.

THANK YOU for the community's strong show of support for sparking children’s learning through play at Minnesota Children's Museum! When we invest early, we can inspire growth in every child.

Contributions from individuals fuel discovery and early learning by enabling Minnesota Children's Museum to:

  • Deliver nationally-recognized exhibits and programming
  • Reach out to underserved neighborhoods and families through our Access program
  • Bring exemplary programs to area schools
  • Engage young minds and inspire creativity
  • Provide a safe learning environment for children and families
