Association of Children's Museum Reciprocal Program Changes

Minnesota Children’s Museum members who have a Passport Deluxe, Adventurer, Explorer, Discover or Children’s Circle membership will be affected by upcoming changes to the Association of Children’s Museums (ACM) Reciprocal Program. Effective April 1, 2013, the program will change its name to the ACM Reciprocal Network, and will revise its reciprocal admission benefit. Starting April 1, 2013, members will receive 50% off general admission ticket rates for up to six people at participating museums. Members will no longer receive free admission. These changes will help create a more consistent network, reduce confusion at the ticket counter and eliminate any additional special restrictions that may currently be in effect at some museums.

Members who purchase or renew a membership that expires on or after April 30, 2013 will be affected by this change. Depending the expiration date, members will receive free admission for four people for part of their membership and then transition to 50% off up to six people for the remainder of their membership. Members who purchase or renew a membership that expires on or after April 30, 2014 will receive a full 12 months of 50% off admission for up to six people.

To receive free or discounted admission into an ACM Reciprocal Network museum, one named adult must be present and able to show a photo ID upon check in.
