Educators and Groups
Educators and groups are important to Minnesota Children's Museum. We are a learning-driven institution that offers a variety of services and resources for area schools and organizations. The Museum also welcomes non-school groups such as Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, summer camps and community education classes.
Self-Guided Visits
Reserve a visit that allows your group to explore the Museum at its own pace. Your students will learn and discover as they interact with curriculum-supporting, hands-on exhibits.
Museum Classes
You and your students will experience a content-rich, hands-on, 45-minute Museum class led by a Museum educator, followed by a self-guided Museum exploration. Museum classes are aligned with state standards.
Museum-To-Go Classes
Bring the Museum experience right to your school! A Museum educator will visit your classroom and facilitate a 50-minute hands-on class at your site. Museum-to-Go classes support state standards.
Professional Development
Discover new ideas! Find inspiration and develop practical skills to apply in your classroom. You’ll also earn clock hours towards CEU credits.
Discovery Trunks and Other Programs
Create a Minnesota Children’s Museum experience in your own classroom with our Discovery Trunks. Build school community and involve your students’ families in their education with a Family Night or Invention Showcase at the Museum. We also offer programs for homeschool groups, adolescent parents, as well as high school child development classes.
