Facing Race Community Forum

RACE - Do you talk about it much?
November 16: 9:30 a.m. - 12 p.m
.

Talking about race and racism can be the first step. The New Conversations about Race and Racism® tool, developed by The Saint Paul Foundation, helps begin the discussion. It illustrates behaviors and assumptions about race and racism and gives participants opportunities to explore the topic in a non-threatening environment. You will learn skills to share personal histories, assume good intent in uncomfortable interactions and address real-life situations.

This is an adults-only event with limit space. This workshop fee includes free parking at the World Trade Center Ramp. Make your reservation online.

November 21 and December 19: 10 - 11 a.m.

Your child can practice reading at home and then come to the Museum and read to a friendly dog. Click here for a suggested book list. Reserve your spot online.
