Special events and activities at Minnesota Children's Museum offer more ways to get your little ones laughing and learning. From child-friendly Valentine's parties to special guest Story Time readers, the Museum's special events keep your kids discovering new experiences year-round.

Pizza Friday Nights

Now through February 26: 5 and 6 p.m.

Looking for an affordable family date night? Beginning January 8, the Museum will be your Friday night family fun destination. Your family can enjoy a meal of Papa John's pizza, carrots, lemonade and cookie for only $1.99 per person (plus Museum admission) when you come to play at the Museum. Each Friday night will have a special theme, so it's always a new experience.

Meal times are from 5 - 5:45 p.m. and 6 - 6:45 p.m.; reservations are required. Space is limited; sign up online. Note: If you plan to attend the event with other families, please consider making one reservation. Because seating is assigned, we can't guarantee groups who register separatley will be seated together.

Friday Night Themes:

February 12: Rescue your family from a night of boredom! Show up as your favorite superhero or caped crusader (or just wear a cape).

February 19: Your night will be turned upside down when you wear your clothes inside out during your Museum adventure.

February 26: Enjoy pizza and an evening of play in comfort - wear your favorite pajamas and bring along a stuffed pal to share the adventure.

Dino-Mite Valentine’s Party

February 13: 6 – 8 p.m.

Celebrate Valentine’s Day at Minnesota Children’s Museum! Your love bugs will have a wonderful time exploring the Museum’s fun-filled galleries, creating valentines, designing a sweet treat and exploring the new Dinosaurs: Land of Fire and Ice exhibit. Admission, parking, and a light snack are included in the ticket price.

Children's Dental Health Day

February 20: 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

February is Dental Health Month. Join us for the 11th annual Children's Dental Health Day sponsored by Minnesota Children's Museum and Saint Paul District Dental Health Society. Parents will have a chance to talk to dentists and learn important facts about their children's dental health, while kids get to meet the tooth fairy and other characters, pretend to be a dentist using a real dentist's chair and tools, and receive free products to keep their teeth healthy (while supplies last).
