Museum–to–Go! Classes
Bring the Museum to you! Your students can participate in a fifty–minute, hands–on class
at your school led by one of our Museum Educators. These in–depth classes have been designed to support state and national standards.

- Grade Level: Varies
- Available: Mondays and Tuesdays year–round.
- Maximum: 27 students per session
- Minimum: 3 sessions of the same class on the same day at one site
- Cost: $285 ($95 per session) Schools outside a 50–mile radius will be charged a mileage fee.

Arts
World Music, Grades Pre–K – 2
Set the stage for literacy skills while helping students learn about world cultures through music and movement.
Health
Hands–On Health, Grades Pre–K – 4
Discover the amazing dramas that take place every day in our bodies. Learn how the choices we make about exercise, nutrition and safety impact our health.
Math
Patterns, Grades Pre–K – 1
Break out of your patterns! Students explore patterns in the world around them while developing building blocks for mathematical thinking.
Science
Dino Dig, Grades Pre–K – 4
Your students can be paleontologists and explore the prehistoric world of dinosaurs.
Forest Food Find, Grades 1 – 4
Eat or be eaten! Students explore predator/prey relationships and the energy of food chains as they become animals trying to survive in the forest.
Social Studies
Castle Capers, Grades Pre–K – 4
Celebrate community life in an amazing castle. Experience the interconnectedness of a community by working together to meet everyone’s needs and wants.
Community Faces and Places, Grades 1 – 3
Become city planners! Students cooperate with each other while building a community as a team.
Global Shoes,
Grades Pre–K – 4
Introduce your classroom to the world through shoes. Exploring what we wear on our feet provides clues to where we live, work, play and celebrate the special moments in our lives.
Safe Communities, Grades Pre–K – 1
Learn the signs of safety in your community. Build a group community, make your own signs and practice safe travel through your community.
