Museum Classes
Your group will experience a 45–minute in–depth, hands–on class led by one of our Museum Educators, plus one hour and 15 minutes of Museum exploration. You receive pre– and post–program materials to prepare your students for their visit, and to spark their imaginations in the classroom and at home. Museum classes are the perfect way to kick–off or culminate a themed unit in your classroom and work toward meeting state standards.

- Grade Level: Varies
- Minimum: 20 children
- Maximum: 100 children
- Visit Length: 2 hours
- Adults: Ratio of 1 adult (admitted free) for every 4 children. Additional adults $4.50 or $2.25 through the Group Access Program.
- Available: Wednesdays through Fridays
- Cost: $6.50 per student includes Museum class and visit. $3.25 per student for Museum class and visit through the Group Access Program. A limited number of bus scholarships are available for Access schools. Call 651–225–6001 for an application.
After you make your Museum Class reservation, you will receive a reservation kit that includes:
- Visit confirmation, invoice and travel directions
- Helpful hits for teachers and chaperones
- An Educator Pass to preview the Museum before your trip
Two weeks prior to your visit, you will receive a packet with the following:
- Museum class schedule
- A curriculum guide to distribute to all teachers that includes pre– and post–visit activities for the classroom and a related gallery guide
