Your Child's Birthday is a Piece of Cake!
Birthday celebrations at Minnesota Children's Museum are easy and fun filled. You bring the guests and we do the rest. We'll set-up and clean-up your party, giving you more time to spend with your birthday guests in seven galleries packed with extraordinary hands-on adventures.

Minnesota Children's Museum offers two great ways to celebrate birthdays:
Celebration and Super Celebration.

Both parties include: • Party invitations • Museum admission for 20 guests (one adult required for every five children) • Personalized cake, ice cream, juice and tableware • Birthday button for the birthday child • Optional party favors available for $5 per child (plus tax) • Additional guests $6 each Pizza is available upon request for $12 per 1 topping pizza (plus tax).

Celebration parties also include: • 1 hour at a reserved table in our party space Cost: $160 for members, $185 for non-members* Celebration parties are available Tuesdays through Fridays at 3 p.m.; Fridays at 5 and 7 p.m.; and Saturdays and Sundays at 10 a.m., 12, 2 and 4 p.m. Super Celebration parties also include: • 1–1/2 hours reserved in our private party room with a birthday party host leading Museum–themed activities Cost: $265 for members, $315 for non-members* Super Celebration parties are available Saturdays and Sundays at 10 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3:30 p.m. Super Celebration parties are suitable for children ages 2 through 10 and their peers.

Current Super Celebration Themes

·Toddlers ages 1-2

Totally Toddlers
Your little one and guests will have a great time at our toddler bash!  It’s a toddlers dream: we play at water and sand tables, read a story, finger paint and play parachute games.

Upon request, Totally Toddlers can be themed to match our current Can You Tell Me How to Get to Sesame Street? exhibit. This option is available through April 27.

Animal Antics
Animal Antics will excite your guests with animals galore!  Your guests will enjoy an interactive story, make their own “box” turtle, and meet and learn about live turtles.  (An Animal Antics party without turtles is an option for those who do not want live animals.)

Curious Science
Loads science fun your little Einstein! Activities include making oceans in a bottle, playing with oobleck, experimenting with water gel and more! 

Winter Fun - Available through March 31
Grab your mittens and hold on tight: we’re in for a fun-filled wintery time!  Your guests will make snow, candy houses and snowflakes, and warm up with a great story.  Perfect for the snow lovers in the family.

Super Silly Science
Super Silly Science is full of science fun. Young scientists will delight as they make ice cream, oceans in a bottle, slime and more science fun!

Once Upon a Story
Explore the world of fairy tales at your child’s next birthday party. Your guests will create their own fairytale starring the birthday child as well as other fun-filled activities!  Call 651-225-6036 for more details on this upcoming option.
